How to Track Your Money Transfers with OTT Remit
Tracking your money transfer is easy in the OTT Remit app or in www.ottremit.com. Just follow these simple steps.
1. Sign in to your profile in the app or in www.ottremit.com
2. Click on History in the bottom navigation bar to display all your transactions
3. Click on the transaction that you want to monitor. Here, you will be able to view all the transaction details including the delivery method, sender and recipient names and real-time updates in the transaction flow.
4. You also have the option to save the transaction receipt for your records.
How To Track Cash Pick-Up Money Transfer
If you choose Cash Pick-Up as your money transfer delivery method, we make it easier for you to share the necessary information with your recipient:
- Follow steps 1-3 above to view the transaction details.
- Once the remittance is available for pick up, your transaction details will include the Cash Pick-Up Number. Your recipient will have to present this information to collect the funds.
- When the funds are ready, a button that says “Save this message for the recipient” will appear. This lets you know that the transaction is fully processed and ready for pick- up.
- Click on the button to save the details as an image to send it to your recipient via text, email, or any other convenient method.
How to Send Money with OTT Remit
If this is your first money transfer with OTT Remit, follow these steps to get started:
- Simply download the OTT Remit app or visit www.ottremit.com to sign up for an account using your phone number.
- Complete the required information in the online registration form to avoid delays in your money transfer.
Follow these easy steps to send money:
- Select the currency, remit amount, money transfer delivery time and method to send money.
- Enter your recipient’s information.
- Pay for your money transfer by making an INTERAC e-Transfer.
What To Do If You Experience a Delay in Your Money Transfer
Sometimes, delays due to banking hours, holidays, and weekends can affect processing times. And in the rare instance that you encounter a delay with your money transfer, our customer support is available to assist and help resolve any issues.

It’s easy! Simply log in to your account, go to “Account Settings,” and select “Increase Limits.” From there, you can upload clear images of your ID directly through the app.
How can I cancel a transaction?
To cancel a transaction, please contact us as soon as possible. In case a transaction has been processed/paid out, a cancellation for refund may not be made.
What should I do if I filled out the incorrect recipient’s name or phone number?
Incorrect recipient name and phone number will cause the remittance to fail, and the recipient cannot collect the payment from this transaction. You will get a notification while your transaction cannot be processed, and you will be requested to update your recipient information.
